The Aurifil 80wt Cotton Thread — White Large Spool is the ultra-fine 80wt version of Aurifil cotton thread — an extremely fine, nearly invisible thread for the finest hand quilting, English Paper Piecing basting, and any application requiring thread so fine it essentially disappears in the fabric. 80wt is finer than 50wt and dramatically finer than standard 40wt — for applications where thread visibility must be absolutely minimized.
